Mythology Best Friend is a blend of three straight bourbons, bottled by Mythology Distillery of Colorado at 44% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It combines a 15 year old Kentucky bourbon with two high-rye Indiana bourbons aged 2 and 5 years.
The brand describes it as an infinity bottle: the deep, honeyed 15 year old stock is set against younger, spicier high-rye components.
The nose is wildflower honey and warm cornbread. The palate opens with honeycomb before moving to gentle cinnamon and toasted almonds. The finish is long, with rich vanilla, pipe tobacco and black currant.
