Mythology Hell Bear American Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Hell Bear is an American whiskey from Mythology Distillery in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is a blend of straight rye whiskey and two straight bourbons, with the whiskeys aged between three and five years. The name comes from a Colorado prospector legend of a part-bear, part-badger creature said to guide lost prospectors home. The blend joins a young, high-rye whiskey with a four-year-old high-rye bourbon and a five-year-old wheated bourbon. The distillery describes fruit and botanicals on the nose, then prominent rye spice and oak, ending in a smooth vanilla and caramel finish.
