A Japanese single malt from Nagahama, matured entirely in bourbon barrels and bottled at 50.5% in a 50cl bottle. It is the latest batch of the distillery's first single malt release, and the whisky is young.
The nose brings sweet vanilla, hints of coconut, honey and oaky, malty aromas. On the palate come wood spices, juicy apples and fresh pear, followed by a long, fresh finish in which pear returns alongside gentle citrus.
