Nagahama Distillery – Amahagan World Malt Whisky Winter Edition (70cl, 47%)

Amahagan Winter Edition is a blended malt from Nagahama Distillery in Japan, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It combines peated malt distilled at Nagahama with peated malt brought in from other countries and regions. 6,000 bottles were produced. Amber in colour, it shows peat and sweet aromas on the nose, with the smoke of a wood fire and tropical fruit such as pineapple and passion fruit. The palate is smooth, with vanilla, raisin and honey sweetness, then salty, nutty notes and a strong malt character. The finish is long, with soft peat smoke.
