Nashville Barrel Company Small Batch Rye Batch 2 is a rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 50% ABV. It blends Indiana-distilled rye aged 4 years and 8 years, with at least 25% of the blend from the 8-year stock, on a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. The company, founded in Nashville in 2018, selects and blends barrels rather than distilling its own. This batch is called the Duet of Ryes, and it was blended and bottled in Nashville. The nose is caramel apple, sweet-tart candy and honey over floral citrus. The palate brings key lime pie, apple, cinnamon and cocoa, and the finish has tobacco, Granny Smith apple, rye spice and honey.
