Nashville Barrel Company The Compromise 50/50 Bourbon & Rye (75cl, 61.3%)

The Compromise is a blend of bourbon and rye whiskey from Nashville Barrel Company, bottled at a cask strength of 61.3% ABV and non-chill filtered, in a 750ml bottle. It is a 50/50 blend of 9-year-old MGP straight bourbon and 7-year-old 100% rye from an undisclosed Kentucky distillery. The bourbon's mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It was blended and bottled in Nashville, Tennessee, in collaboration with Nashtucky Whiskey Co. The nose offers toasted oak, brown sugar, rye spice and dark cherry. The palate is oily toffee, vanilla, peppercorn and cinnamon heat, and the finish is long and warming, with leather and spice.
