Nc'nean 'Aon 17-165' is an organic single malt Scotch whisky from an ex-Moscatel cask. It comes from Nc'nean, an independent distillery at Drimnin on the Morven peninsula in the Western Highlands, which has been working since 2017.
Milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling and maturing all take place at the distillery, which uses two different mashes. It runs on 100% renewable energy and uses organic Scottish barley from two certified local farms. In 2021 it was verified as net zero for carbon emissions, scopes 1 and 2.
