Nc'nean – AON Single Cask 18-405 Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 59%)

Nc'nean AON Single Cask 18-405 is an organic Highland single malt from the Nc'nean distillery on the Morvern peninsula, bottled at a cask strength of 59% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single STR red wine cask, one that has been shaved, toasted and re-charred, and was bottled in a run of 300 bottles for the importer ImpEx Beverages. Aon is Gaelic for one, and the name marks Nc'nean's series of single casks. The whisky is made from organic Scottish barley, is non-chill filtered and has no colour added. Red berries, toasted oak and vanilla lead the nose. The palate brings caramelised fruit, dark chocolate and nutmeg.
