Nc'nean Aon STR Red Wine is a single cask Scotch single malt from cask 18-405, filled in 2018. It belongs to the Aon series, the name meaning 'one' in Gaelic, and is an individually numbered bottle from a limited release.
The cask is an STR red wine cask, shaved, toasted and re-charred, which adds toasted oak to the wine influence. The barley is 100% organic Scottish.
Expect red berry fruit, with cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, then dark chocolate, baking spices and vanilla, and a long, velvety finish.
