Nc'nean Ex-Amarone AON Single Cask 20-674 is a limited, organic Highland single malt finished in Italian Amarone wine casks. It belongs to the AON series, named after the Gaelic word for 'one', and comes from cask 20-674, filled in 2020.
The Amarone casks previously held wine made from partially dried grapes. The whisky is certified organic by the Soil Association, and the bottle is made from 100% recycled glass.
The nose and palate bring raisin, fig and cherry, with dark chocolate, vanilla, sweet oak, orange zest, warm spice and gentle tannins. The texture is velvety and the finish long and warming.
