Nc'nean – Huntress Malted Teacake Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48.5%)

This is the fifth annual release in Nc'nean's experimental Huntress series, a certified organic Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV and is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, from an edition of 4,391 bottles released in 2026. The spirit was fermented with two of the distillery's own yeast strains and a third normally used in Belgian Trappist-style ales. It was matured in 50% STR ex-red wine casks, 48% ex-bourbon casks and 2% ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The nose is described as red apple, ripe peach, malted biscuit and butterscotch. On the palate come peach, toffee apple, milk chocolate and fresh fig, and the finish brings hay, honeysuckle and baking spice.
