Nc'nean – Huntress: Orchard Cobbler (70cl, 48.5%)

Huntress Orchard Cobbler is a certified organic single malt from Nc'nean in the Highlands, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release in the distillery's Huntress series, a spring seasonal edition of 6,153 bottles, natural in colour and non-chill-filtered. The spirit comes from the week after the distillery switches between its two spirit recipes, when cut points change and the new make turns unusually fruity. The whisky is named after one of the team's favourite desserts. It matured in a mix of 66% STR red wine, 31% bourbon and 3% sherry casks. It is described as cherry Bakewell, apricot marmalade and vanilla custard, with a side of peppermint tea.
