Nc'nean – Organic Single Malt 3 Years Old Batch 18 (70cl)

This is a three-year-old organic Scotch single malt from Nc'nean, released as Batch 18 in a very small, limited run. It is made from certified organic Scottish barley grown biodynamically and fermented spontaneously. The whisky matured in ex-American whiskey casks and red wine casks, a pairing intended to add aromatic richness and body on the palate. Its colour is a bright amber. The nose is citrus, peach, apricot, spice and vanilla. The palate is warm and broad, with nuts, black pepper and beeswax, leading to a long, sweet finish of malt and spice.
