Nc'nean Organic is an unpeated Highland single malt from Nc'nean Distillery on the Morvern peninsula, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle made from recycled glass. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The barley is 100% organic Scottish, fermented for 114 hours, and the whisky is matured in red wine STR, American whiskey and sherry casks. The distillery was founded in 2017 and is net-zero.
The nose has lemon posset and lemongrass over soft orchard fruit. On the palate are juicy peach, apricot and citrus with vanilla creaminess. The finish is smooth and lingering, ending on spiced rye bread.
