Quiet Rebels is a Nc'nean series, and this sixth edition is dedicated to the blender Matthew, whose enthusiasm for cinema and contrasting flavours shaped the selection. It is an unpeated Highland single malt made from Scottish organic barley, bottled in 2026 at 48.5% ABV without chill-filtering or added colour.
The vatting is 47% Manzanilla, 51% bourbon and 2% Oloroso sherry casks. The Manzanilla hogsheads were first seasoned in Jerez for 24 months, which adds fine salty touches.
The nose brings pineapple cake, warm pastry and creamy caramel, and the oily palate has sweet and salty popcorn with roasted hazelnuts. The finish carries soft sherry tannins and a touch of citrus.
