Nc'nean – Quiet Rebels Simon Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48.5%)

A single malt from Nc'nean, released in the Quiet Rebels series, in which a member of the distillery team is given creative control over a bottling. This edition was chosen by Simon. The spirit is made from organic Scottish barley and distilled on Scotland's west coast. It was matured in red wine casks and then finished in stout casks. It is bottled at 48.5% (97 proof) in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Tasting notes describe chocolate brioche and roasted coffee, cherry jam, sweet malt and dark fruit, and a smooth finish with gentle baking spice.
