Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC

A red wine from Bricco dei Guazzi. The grapes are harvested from a vineyard at 280 metres above sea level on strongly calcareous soil. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months in French oak barriques. In the glass it shows ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromas of blackberry and cherry in spirit are accompanied by vanilla, cocoa and tobacco. The palate is elegant, with juicy acidity and a delicately spicy finish. It pairs with land-based dishes, especially pasta with hare or wild boar ragu.
