A red wine from the Brindisi area of Puglia, made by Tenute Rubino from Negroamaro grapes. The grapes are selected by hand, only from bunches that have reached optimal ripeness.
It has an intense, vivid red colour and a rich aromatic palette of ripe red fruit, oriental spices and a light balsamic touch. On the palate it is robust yet harmonious, with blackberry, cherry and a light vanilla note, leading to a long, persistent finish with earthy and mineral nuances.
It pairs well with traditional Puglian dishes, lamb, aged cheeses and robust cured meats, and is best served at 18-20°C.
