Nelcius Cabernet Sauvignon Finish is a French single malt from Château Laujac in the Médoc, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent two years in French oak, then about a year in barrels that previously held the estate's own AOC Médoc wine, made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon.
The nose is fairly discreet, with spirit-forward fruit and brown sugar. The palate is lively and well balanced, with prominent vanilla and a sweetness that comes from the Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.
