New Era Frankenstein's Monster Cask Strength 8 Year Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

Frankenstein's Monster is an 8 year old single barrel bourbon from New Era, bottled at cask strength. It is a limited Halloween release, and the label shows the monster at work in a dark laboratory. As a single barrel bourbon, each bottle comes from an individual barrel rather than a blend of many, so no two barrels are exactly alike. The nose brings caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, brown sugar, baking spice and dark fruit. On the palate it is full-bodied, with toffee, caramelised sugar, vanilla, charred oak, dark cherry and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming.
