A straight malt whiskey from New Holland in Michigan, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It reflects the distillery's brewing roots: a brewer's mash draws sugars from malted barley into a wash, which is twice distilled.
The spirit is aged in new American oak with a heavy char. It has a deep amber colour, with a nose of cocoa, dark chocolate and coffee. Caramel on the palate is followed by vanilla and clove, leading to a classic American-oak finish.
