It is a Christmas edition, with a label showing a mischievous, icy Jack Frost figure among maple leaves and winter scenes. The seven years in oak are described as giving a base of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and dark fruit, while the maple finish adds a dessert-like layer.
The nose brings maple syrup, caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon and dark fruit. The palate is full-bodied and intense, with maple, crème brûlée, toffee, vanilla and baking spice, leading to a long, warming finish.
