New Riff 8 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon made in Newport, Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle. It uses the high-rye mash bill the brand is known for.
The bourbon was aged for 8 years in new American oak and bottled without chill filtration.
The nose combines caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and spicy rye. On the palate are brown sugar, baking spice, dark fruit, pepper and rich oak. The finish is long and warm, slightly peppery, with lingering sweetness.
