New Riff – Bottled in Bond Kentucky Bourbon 8 Year Old (75cl, 50%)

This is an eight-year-old Kentucky bourbon from New Riff, bottled in bond at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is bottled without chill filtration. The mashbill is 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% malted barley. New Riff was founded in 2014 and has set whiskey back for long ageing since then, and this is an older expression of its flagship bourbon. The extra time in the barrel brings the savoury, spicy flavours of the style, and a more mellow, buttery, oaky finish.
