This is an 8 year old Kentucky rye from New Riff, bottled in bond at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled without chill filtration.
The mashbill is 95% rye and 5% malted rye. New Riff was founded in 2014 and has set whiskey back for long ageing since then, and this older expression of its flagship rye has had extra time in the barrel.
It is described as full of character, with rich, spicy flavours.
