This is a white port from Niepoort, aged for three years in oak casks. It is made from white grapes grown in the Douro valley in Portugal.
The nose shows apple and pear with vanilla and a light floral touch. The palate is gently sweet, with lively acidity for freshness, a soft texture, and notes of honey and fine spice. The finish is long.
Serve it lightly chilled, as an aperitif or with seafood, creamy cheeses or desserts that are not too sweet.
