Nikka Days Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Nikka Days is a Japanese blended grain whisky at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, with bourbon cask maturation among its listed casks. It combines three parts: a smoky, somewhat heavy and salty whisky from the Yoichi distillery, an unpeated, fruity malt whisky from Miyagikyo, and grain whisky from Nikka's Coffey stills. The blend is part grain and part lightly peated malted barley. The nose offers pear, citrus and flowers. The palate is soft and rounded, with caramel, malt, toasted nuts, apricot and vanilla, finishing with light smoke.
