Nikka From the Barrel is a Japanese blended malt whisky, a vatting of malt whiskies bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle, presented in a gift box. It is medium in body and well balanced, and is bottled at its original cask strength. On the nose there are flowers, spiced fruit and oak. The palate brings a good deal of winter spice, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, and the finish is long.
