Nikka From The Barrel (75cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky made from matured malt and grain whiskies. After blending, the whisky goes back into casks for a few months, which lets the different batches marry before bottling. It is bottled at 51.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The producer's aroma notes list oak, vanilla, chocolate and orange peel. The palate is full-bodied and sweet with some oak astringency, and the finish turns woody and bitter.
