Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt is a Japanese single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100 percent malted barley and distilled in pot stills heated with indirect steam. Maturation relies mainly on ex-sherry casks and new American oak casks, with the emphasis on ex-sherry wood to give the whisky more depth. The distillery is known for a refined, fruity and floral style, and this bottling is described as an expression of that delicate character.
