Nikka Super Rare Old is a blended whisky made in Miyagi on Honshu, from high-quality spirit from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. It is aged in oak casks that previously held Jerez sherry, which gives it a deep golden colour and soft, inviting aromas. The nose is gently peated, with cooked apple, pear, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is soft, rich and balanced, with spicy notes towards the end.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
