The Nikka Taketsuru Fortune 80 is a rare Japanese blended whisky. It was produced in the 1980s and named after the distillery’s founder Masataka Taketsuru who is considered to be the father of Japanese whisky. It was bottled at 43%. Beyond that, little is known about this release.
Tasting Notes
Warm aromas with apples, oranges and plum notes alongside wood and smoke hints
Complex, well-balanced palate of citrus, sugar, herbs and wood notes with fruity flavours
Sweet finsh with lingering smoke notes
