Nikka The Grain is a Japanese whisky created in 2021 as the third release in The Grain Discovery, which marks ninety years of Nikka Whisky. It brings together distillates from Miyagikyo, Nishinomiya, Moji and Satsuma Tsukasa, in a blend of seven distinct styles that includes Coffey Grain and Coffey Malt. Maturation is in American oak. The whisky is bottled at 48% ABV without chill filtration and has a smooth, creamy texture. The ivory-white label pays tribute to the four distilleries involved.
