Nikka Yoichi 15 Year Old is a Japanese single malt matured for 15 years. The label is white and beige with black Japanese characters. The nose brings bourbon, smoke, wet stone and mild acetone, with dried fruit over a base of fresh green apple. On the palate, citrus freshness, spice and sweetness sit alongside light smoke, soft wood and peat. The finish carries on in the same vein, with fading spice on wood, fruit, peat and a hint of vegetable purée.
