Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Non-Peated Discovery Series 2021

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Non-Peated is a limited edition introduced in 2021 as the first release in the Nikka Discovery series. The series was created ahead of Nikka Whisky's 90th anniversary and looks at experiments in whisky-making that Nikka has carried out over the years. This expression is made solely from unpeated malts, set against Yoichi's reputation for peat. It is described as balancing bright fruitiness with a rich mouthfeel, alongside a distinctive smokiness that comes from coal-fired distillation.
