Nikka Yoichi Single Malt (70cl)

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt comes from the Yoichi distillery on the island of Hokkaido in Japan, and is sold in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled using direct firing. The whisky is matured in casks that previously held American bourbon and sherry. The nose brings ripe fruit such as apple and pear, alongside smoky and woody notes. On the palate, sweetness and spice are balanced, leading to a warm, lasting finish with a slightly peaty aftertaste.
