Nino Negri Valtellina Superiore Riserva

A Riserva red wine from Nino Negri, selected from the best Nebbiolo grapes, locally known as Chiavennasca, grown on the terraced vineyards of Valtellina. It is matured and aged in wood barrels for a prolonged period. It shows a deep garnet colour with aromas of ripe red fruit, faded rose, tobacco, spice and a light balsamic note. The palate is robust with elegant tannic structure, balanced by lively acidity, and leads to a long, rich finish with a mineral note recalling the terroir.
