A Barbera from Nizza DOCG, made by Coppo. It shows an intense ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, dark berries, floral hints, light spice and an herbaceous note. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with pleasant acidity and measured tannins supporting the structure. It suits red meat dishes, roasts, meat sauces, aged cheeses and rustic dishes. Serve at around 16-18 C; a short decant may help open the aromas.
