Nocino Toschi (70cl, 40%)

Nocino Toschi is an Italian walnut liqueur made from green walnuts gathered on the night of San Giovanni. It is intensely aromatic, combining sweetness and intensity at 40% vol. In the glass it is dark brown, almost ebony. The nose brings fresh walnut, chocolate, coffee and sweet spices, including cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is soft and balanced, with sweetness and bitterness in harmony, and the finish is long and aromatic-spicy. It is suited to drinking neat after a meal or as an ingredient in cocktails.
