This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, selected and bottled by the Glasgow independent bottler North Star Spirits. It is bottled at 59.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Benrinnes is known for a weighty spirit that sits apart from the lighter style often associated with Speyside, and this bottling reflects that with a full-bodied texture. It can be taken neat or with a few drops of water. The notes run to rich malt, ripe and dried fruit, caramel and toffee, baking spices and firm oak, followed by a long, powerful finish.
