North Star Orkney 12 Years Old is a single malt distilled in March 2006, matured and bottled in Scotland at 57.8%. It comes from a refill bourbon hogshead, is bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration, and is one of 362 bottles.
The nose has salted pears and green apples. On the palate there is melted salted Normandy butter poured over popcorn, and the finish brings clover honey, or honey on toast.
