This is an 18 year old Glen Grant single malt from Speyside, bottled by North Star Spirits, the independent bottler founded by Ian Croucher. It was distilled in March 2008 and bottled in March 2026 at a cask strength of 56.1%, in a 70cl bottle.
Most of its maturation took place in a refill hogshead, and it was then finished for 19 months in Oloroso sherry wood. Just 167 bottles were filled, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose offers well-baked shortbread and pistachio shells. The palate is full and mouthcoating, with apple turnover and double cream, and the finish is very long, with sweet cashew nuts.
