This is a Speyside single malt from Strathmill, distilled in 2007 and matured for 19 years. It was selected and bottled by North Star Spirits, a Glasgow independent bottler founded in 2016, at 56.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a limited release. Strathmill has mostly gone into blended Scotch, so a single malt bottling shows the distillery's own character.
The long maturation is said to bring mature fruit, sweet malt and oak-driven notes.
