This barrel carries the nickname 'Wheated Peanut Butter Pancake'. It is a limited release, aged for eight years and bottled non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers warm maple syrup, toasted caramel, roasted peanuts, vanilla bean and sweet waffle batter. On the palate it is rich, with maple brûlée, peanut butter, caramelised sugar, cinnamon, toasted oak and a creamy wheat sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with maple glaze, vanilla cream, toasted nuts and sweet baking spice.
