Nulu Red Hot Cherry Rocket Single Barrel Bourbon Hazmat Proof (70.6%)

This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Nulu, selected under the Red Hot Cherry Rocket name. It is bottled at 141.2 proof, or 70.6% ABV, and is non-chill filtered. At that strength it is sold as a hazmat proof bourbon, and the label suggests sipping it carefully in small pours, with a few drops of water if wanted. The nose is bold with cherry, cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and barrel char. The palate is rich, with red hot cinnamon candy, cherry syrup, brown sugar and oak spice. The finish is long and hot, with cherry, cinnamon, caramelised sugar and spice.
