Wheat & Spire is a wheated bourbon from Oak & Eden, made from 51% corn, 45% wheat and 4% malted barley and aged in new American oak barrels.
It is finished in the bottle rather than in a second cask. A 5 inch spiral-cut spire of French oak, toasted to a medium plus level, sits in the bottle and adds its influence over time.
The finish is described as rich and silky, with subtle fruit and vanilla.
