Oban 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Scotland's smallest distillery, sold in a 75cl bottle. It is described as bridging Highland richness and coastal character.
The nose is oily, waxy and nutty, with ripe orchard fruits, almondy fruit cake and Christmas pudding, and faint brine and smoke in the background. The palate is dense and coating, with spicy sweetness, fruit bread, orange zest and clove, turning drier and mintier. The long finish carries dark chocolate tannins and a hint of cedar smoke.
