Oban 14 Year Old is a Scotch whisky from the distillery in the coastal town of Oban, which gives it its name. It spent fourteen years in oak casks and has a golden amber colour. It is sold in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines honey, dried fruit and a hint of peat smoke, with green apple and orange. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with caramel and malt sweetness set against salty, maritime notes. The finish is lingering and lightly spicy.
