Oban 14 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was aged for 14 years in refill and re-charred casks at Oban Distillery, which was founded in 1794 by the Stevenson brothers and still stands in the middle of the West Highland harbour town.
The distillery's classic expression, it is a full-bodied malt in which fruit and honey sit up front, with a dry smokiness building behind.
The distillery describes rich fruits and honeyed spice, a smoky dryness through the middle, and a whiff of sea salt on the finish.
