Oban Distillery Exclusive Batch 04 is a single malt from the West Highland distillery, bottled at 48% ABV without filtration. Only 7200 bottles were filled.
The whisky was matured in refill hogsheads and in virgin American oak hogsheads that had been seasoned with sherry, for a period that has not been disclosed.
The palate is described as rich, with dried fruits, vanilla and toasted almonds, balanced by a maritime character.
